The main theme that has to be looked upon will be Randy Lerner. Now, without seeing him on camera, it is really hard to get an idea on what exactly is his goal and does he care about winning. Some people may claim that he does and that is possible. Others do not really know for sure. He also does own the Soccer team but has hired people to run it pretty much so that he doesn't have to really do it himself.
It is unclear who he is going to hire but he has to get the right football mind to run the team. They need a President, a GM, and possibly a new head coach. Without really knowing who is available, it does make it hard to speculate. He has to be really good with this and whoever it is must have some experience in building a franchise up. There has to be experience required in this sense because going to new people to do it may not necessarily be the right move for this team.
Selling the team is probably not going to happen anytime soon. He must not know the meaning of the word quit. It would cost somebody a lot of money though without question. He has made some bad calls since he has taken over the team without question.
Until this is done, I do not believe it will ever be a good time to be a Browns fan. They must get the right people right away. Time is of the essence. Being a punching bag is unacceptable and that is all that can be said.
P.S.: Maybe he should be an investor to the Indians but that's another story if he can afford to do so.
