THE HAKA
October 16th 2006 00:48
So the rugby tri nations began on the weekend, much to the delight of myself.
Apparently the kiwis got a bit a bit upset because big Willie mason swore at them during the haka, now everyone is denying this except big willies beauty of a blackeye courtesy of Dave kidwell.
Now I don't know if big Willie dissed the kiwis or not but I know if I was confronted by a dozen or so humongous, cranky, sweaty kiwi athletes screaming the haka at me then I reckon no I can positively say I would swear as well.
Maybe that's what big Willie said under his breath because the haka is a fearsome war cry that really pumps up a sporting contest.
This incident has certainly pumped up the series and I say bring it on, Willie and Dave kidwell will lock horns again on aussie home turf soon and I hope it fills the stadium.
I'll be in the crowd yelling out my sheepshagging jokes, let the games begin.
I love it when we play the kiwis; we put #hit on them on the field and then get on the lagers with them after the game.
Maybe the poms need a haka to fire up their team, it would have something about cups of tea and warm beer in their.
It's going to be a big summer of sport, rock on...

All Willie was going on about was the fact that an Australian aborigine was leading a traditional Maori battle dance.
Something along the lines of - "Isn't Brent Webb an Aborigine? Look at him. Get f---ed".
Of course the cameras just had to be panning in on him at the time!!
